Individual Therapy for adults and adolescents Groups for new Moms
During your session, you will feel deeply understood. Through my training with Candyce Ossefort-Russell, I will help you find your way again. We live our lives using our conscious minds. From managing our time, our resources, our work, and the needs of others, we rely on the logical part of our minds to help us manage our lives. We can be so proficient in living successfully, that sometimes we forget the wisdom of our unconscious minds. Our unconscious minds are where we gain access to our emotions, creativity, spontaneity, and inspirations. Through regular psychotherapy sessions, I can help you become familiar with your unconscious again. Over time, your inner wisdom will become available to you and welcome, as a guiding light. Anxiety, depression can be symptoms that your life has blown off course. Together we can find your path.
Becoming a mom or dad is one of the biggest transitions in a person's life, yet our society does very little to prepare us for this change and provide support. If you're feeling overwhelmed or like you should be doing better, I can help you find your strength. It's not uncommon for new parents to experience intrusive thoughts, run away worry, irritability, and hopelessness. If you are feeling this, please reach out for help. With advanced training through Association Montessori Internationale and with over 10 years experience working with children from a Montessori perspective, as well as personal experience as a mom of 3 children, I can support you through unknowns with confidence. I have also received advanced training on providing perinatal mental health care through the postpartum mental health alliance of Texas.
